That’s right, folks! We all know the game. In a mainstream media account of political corruption, who can be the first to find the party affiliation of the corrupt politician!?!

This one is particularly bad. Generally, of course, if the person is a Republican, that fact will be in the headline. If they’re a Democrat, it will be buried in about the fifth paragraph. But this one has it…
Not at all.
With a media this biased, we all lose this game. I still firmly believe in the wisdom of a free electorate in general, and of the American people as a whole in particular. But without reliable information, even the wisest decider will end up making poor decisions.
It doesn’t help that he’s black. A black democrat politician who is corrupt–the media has to bury that, or they will be indicted as racists.
Looks like we have another winner. Blagojevich. Even the name sounds dirty.
